Kids Ruach Elohim Mattah War Sticks
Mattah
Mattahs are symbolic of authority.
The mattah/Rod was used in the Bible for ruling, guiding, chastening and correction.
Mattahs come in all different sizes. In the old testament cloth tied to the rods identified which tribe the person belonged too. Some have pictures or the names of God burned into them or writen with marker. Some have flags of the nations on them or symbolic pictures on them.
Mattahs are used with purpose directed by holy spirit. Holy spirit is our teacher and will teach you how to use the mattah in dance or in prayer.
The mattah doesn't have power in itself. Our source of power is found in the word of God and the revelation thats comes from the holy spirit who tells us what to do with the rod. As we quote the word, decreeing the word out of our mouths in the earth realm we are laying the rod of the word of God upon the back of the enemy. At the same time the Lord is moving on our behalf to rout the enemy.
Mattahe can be used to pound the ground. As we pound the ground with the rods we are breaking up the fallow ground of hearts, ours included so they will be able to receive the gospel.
Fallow means undeveloped, empty, intended, unplowed.
Hosea 10:12 read
People can whirl them in a type of dance of intercession. This type of movement can symbolize many things such as the Lord coming as a whirlwind. Or stirring up the water living water!
You can draw a line on the ground symbolizing the enemy can only come this far.
