That word will make you check how much power you’ve given a reaction. You can put your heart into something, show up for people, and still find yourself wondering why the support feels quiet. But you cannot keep questioning your worth every time somebody doesn’t acknowledge it.

Everybody watching isn’t against you, and everybody clapping isn’t for you. Let consistency reveal the difference. Appreciate the people who show genuine love, keep doing what you’ve been called to do, and stop letting a screen tell you how much your presence matters.

Your purpose still deserves your YES—even on the days the applause is quiet. 🙌🏽🖤

Sunday at The City! ❤️🙌🏽 Good food, fellowship, music & hearts coming together—these are the moments that make you appreciate having a church FAMILY.

There’s love in preparing a meal, serving somebody a plate, sharing a laugh, and making people feel welcome. Every person who cooks, serves, sings, plays, or helps behind the scenes adds something special to the experience. Your time & your heart matter! ❤️

THE FIGHT IS HARDER BECAUSE THE MIRACLE IS CLOSER‼️ 🙌🏾💚

Somebody needs this reminder today: don’t let a hard season convince you that God has forgotten you! You’ve been praying, pushing, showing up, & trying to keep your faith while carrying things people know nothing about. You may be tired, but there is still purpose in your life & a reason to keep going! 🙏🏾

Take a breath. Ask for help when you need it. Let somebody pray with you. You don’t have to face every round by yourself! Whatever you’re trusting God for, keep bringing it before Him—even when all you can say is, “Lord, help me.”

Pastor-Elect Isaiah McCarter gave us a word to HOLD ON TO! Keep your faith in the ring… this fight does NOT get the final say! 🥊🙌🏾🔥

& THIS is how we spent our Sunday… at THE CITY! ❤️🙌🏾 From the fellowship to the worship, seeing everybody come together does my heart good! Different people, different things we’re carrying, but coming into one place where we can lift our hands & give God thanks!

Sometimes you need that time to refocus, let some things go & get yourself together before another week begins. There’s something about worshipping with your church family… looking around & seeing somebody else giving God praise encourages you to keep going too! 🙌🏾
