There are no insignificant roles in the Kingdom of God.

When Jeremiah was trapped in the cistern, Ebed-Melech refused to stay silent. He used his voice, influence, and compassion to help—and he cared enough to make sure Jeremiah was rescued with dignity.

Faith calls us to more than noticing someone’s struggle. It calls us to show up, speak up, and become the help someone needs.

Jesus raised Lazarus—but He called the community to unbind him.

Our healing comes with a responsibility to help others walk in freedom. Sometimes that means sitting with someone in grief, making room for honest questions, or helping carry what they cannot carry alone.

There are no insignificant roles in the Kingdom of God.

Before Moses confronted Pharaoh, Shiphrah and Puah resisted him faithfully. They used their position to protect life, reminding us that God works through ordinary people who stand for what is right.

Our work can become mission. Our compassion can cross community lines. And our faithfulness to God must remain greater than our fear of people.

Protect what God is bringing to life—even when you may never see the future you’re helping create.
