Peace on Earth: Luke 2: 14
Christ came as a baby to bring peace to a world that was in constant turmoil. He came to bring eternal certainty to a people that knew nothing about what God had in mind for the rest of their eternity. God had been working to make a future for His creation since they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden. It had always been His plan to walk and enjoy fellowship with His people from the day that they were created.
Christmas is a time for most people that we enjoy the simple things of life. It is a time that we long for the peace of a gentle time when we can enjoy without the rush of all that goes on in our world especially during this pandemic. May we hear with the shepherds the wonderful proclamation that Christ is come to bring peace and joy to a lost and hurting world.

Scripture Text: Matthew 25: 31-46

Ministry and the Final Judgement

These events will take place at Jesus’ second coming and the end of the world. One of the powerful images of that time is the picture of the judgment. See and know that this image should cause all men to seek the favor and salvation of God through Jesus Christ.

“When the Son of Man comes in glory, and
All the angels with him, he will sit on his throne
In heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered
before him, and he will separate the people one
from another as a shepherd separates the sheep
from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right
and the goats on his left.
“Then the King will say to those on his right,
“Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take
your inheritance, the Kingdom prepared for you
since the creation of the world. For I was hungry
and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty
and you gave me something to drink, I was a
stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes
and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked
after me, I was in prison and you came to visit
me.”

Joy: Psalms 16:11
The path of life is often covered in pitfalls and struggles. It is what you make of it that makes you or breaks you. In the presence of the almighty we can have joy and purpose that gives direction and opportunity to everything that we do. To know that things come our way that may help us in sharing with others or in letting our children know that God is with us in the midst of the trials and struggles helps us see our roll in leading the way for future generations.
Today as you journey down the road know that the trials and struggles in your path were not allowed without God already knowing that He was providing away for you to walk out in victory and blessed through His presence. Look to God and know that He is walking with you every step of the way. God Bless you this day as you seek God guidance.
