👶👧 Kidz Ministry (birth–5th grade) is available every Sunday morning.
🙌 Youth, Kidz, and Adult Connect Groups meet throughout the week to help you build community and grow deeper in your walk with Christ.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we are so blessed to have Pastor Jonathan Daniels, our Next Generation Pastor, and Pastors Andy & Terri Shaffer, our Co-Founders and Lead Pastors, leading and serving here at The Journey!

Thank you for your faithful leadership, your heart for people, your dedication to God's calling, and the countless ways you love and serve our church family. So much of what you do happens behind the scenes, but please know it never goes unnoticed!

Eternity is REAL. Heaven is REAL. Hell is REAL. And what we believe about eternity should change the way we live today.

This past Sunday, Pastor Terri shared a powerful and sobering message in Part 3 of our Eternal Realities series, “The Horrors of Hell.”

One of the biggest takeaways from Sunday’s message was this:

“If I don’t believe that Hell is a REAL place and a REAL possibility, then I will not live with the urgency to get my life right with the Lord.”

The reality is, we ALL know someone who doesn’t know Jesus. A family member. A friend. A coworker. A neighbor.

And if we truly believe what God’s Word says about eternity, shouldn’t that change the way we live, the way we love, and the urgency with which we share Jesus with others?

This isn’t about living in fear. It’s about recognizing the importance of eternity and having a heart for those who don’t yet know Him. ❤️

Our prayer is that we would never become so comfortable in our own faith that we forget the people around us who desperately need Jesus.

Who is God placing on your heart today? Pray for them. Love them. Invite them. Share Jesus with them.

Because eternity matters. And so do they.

Just a couple of months ago, we had the opportunity to hear from them in person, and now they're settled in Costa Rica and seeing God at work!

We are so thankful for their hearts to serve and their obedience to God's calling.

☁️ Can you imagine a place with no more pain, no more sorrow, no more sickness, and no more tears? ❤️

1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT) reminds us:

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.”

🙌 Heaven is the absence of everything evil and the presence of everything good…it's being in the very presence of GOD!

What an incredible promise and what a HOPE we have in Jesus! ❤️
