⚡️SNL last night was SUCH a good one.

Our student band absolutely led us in praise and worship, and it was so special getting to worship together before the Lord. 🤍 Anna led us in praying over our unsaved friends and families, and it was such a powerful reminder to keep loving people and pointing them to Jesus.

Pastor Chuck continued our series through 1 Thessalonians, diving into chapter 5:1–11 and asking the big question: 👀
“Are you ready for the Day of the Lord?”

We wrapped up in small groups talking about what it actually looks like to live ready — encouraging each other, challenging each other, and digging into what the Bible says about how Christians should wait for Jesus.

Good conversations. Good people. God moving. ✨
Can’t wait for next Sunday night.

We loved celebrating the Senior Class of 2026 on Tuesday!

Dinner at Heath’s, dessert at the Clouds’, and a lot of old photos and videos made for a sweet night looking back on all the ways these students have grown over the years.

We’re thankful for each of them and excited to celebrate them with our church family on Sunday, May 17 during the 10am service.

Okay but Sunday Night Live last night?? Such a good night 🙌🔥

Our Student-Led Service was such a blessing from start to finish! Lance and Kara broke the ice with the Old Testament Law vs. ChatGPT game—and honestly… we were laughing AND learning at the same time 😂🤯

Anna led us in group prayer and it was one of those moments where you could just feel the Lord moving. So thankful for time to come together and seek Him 💛🙏

Our student band did an amazing job leading worship as always 🎶🙌—lifting up the name of Jesus and pointing us straight to Him!

Logan Neal brought a solid message on friendships—rooted in Scripture, full of truth, and yes… those video clips kept us laughing too 😂👏

We’re also praying for Pastor Chuck as he leads a team overseas this week to serve others and share the love of Christ 🌍✈️❤️

Grateful for a night centered on God’s Word, worship, and community. Already looking forward to next week!

Sunday Night Live was such an incredible time together as we focused on Mission Sunday! 🙌 We loved gathering as a group, and our student band did an amazing job once again leading us in powerful worship.

We were so encouraged hearing from Breanna Hutchens, a former CBC student, who shared how she got connected with a local church near her college and is now preparing to take the Gospel overseas this year—thank you for sharing with us, Breanna! 🌍

After that, we headed over to the chapel where Pastor Ken Fielder, director of WordView Missions, brought a message that was both encouraging and deeply convicting. He challenged us not just to celebrate our own salvation, but to boldly share the Gospel with others so they too can hear the good news and come to know Christ. ✝️

It was a night full of worship, encouragement, and a powerful reminder of the mission we’re all called to! 💥

✨ Sunday Night Live Recap ✨

Another great Sunday night with our Salt & Light Students! 🙌

Pastor Chuck opened the evening in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 with a powerful reminder that even though we grieve, we still have hope — because our hope is found in Jesus. 🤍

Maggie led the worship team beautifully as we lifted our voices together in praise. It was such a sweet time of worship and reflection. 🎶

We finished the night in small groups, continuing the conversation and encouraging one another as we grow deeper in our faith together.

✨ Sunday Night Live Recap ✨

What a powerful night together! We had a full house and an incredible atmosphere from start to finish. 🙌

🎶 Our student band led us to the throne in worship, setting the tone for a meaningful evening.
🙏 Anna guided us in a beautiful group prayer time, lifting our hearts together.
📖 Pastor Chuck kicked off a new series in 1 Thessalonians — “Faithful to the End” — sharing what the Bible says about God’s clear will for our lives.
💬 We wrapped up the night with small group discussions, digging deeper into what we learned and encouraging one another.

We’re so thankful for every student who came and made the night special.

✝️ Join us again this Friday for our Good Friday service.
As we enter Passion Week, we’re praying for each of you — that your hearts would be drawn closer to Christ and filled with hope and gratitude.

We can’t wait to see you again soon. 💛

Last night at Sunday Night Live was 🔥
We had fun, worshiped together, and dug into the Word. The student band led us in powerful worship, Anna led our group prayer time, and Pastor Chuck talked with us about what true confession really looks like. We wrapped up the night with meaningful discussion in our small groups.
