Tiny hands, big smiles, colorful crafts, and a truth we pray sticks with them for years to come:

God made you on purpose, and you are part of His plan.

Preschool Bible Camp was such a sweet week learning about God’s Masterpiece from Ephesians 2:10. We’re so thankful for every child, family, and volunteer who made this week possible. 🎨

Looking back at Kid's Camp has us so excited for what’s coming!

We’re praying for another week full of Gospel truth, sweet friendships, fun moments, and kids learning more about Jesus in a way they can understand.

We still have room, and registration is open now. Don’t wait to sign up. We would love for your child to be part of Kids Camp this year!

We are all in process.

The disciples saw the empty tomb, but they were still learning what it meant. They were still putting the pieces together. And if we’re honest, so are we.

God is still working in us, maturing us, completing what He started. That means we can have patience with ourselves and grace for others as we follow Him.

Take a stroll in the Scriptures with Pastor James as we look back at the resurrection and remember that God is not finished with us yet.

You don’t have to be famous, impressive, or “somebody” for God to use you.

Most of the people you see leading worship on Sundays are regular people with regular jobs. They clock in or head to class, run errands, take care of their families, answer emails, work with their hands, teach kids, work long days, and then they show up to serve.

That’s the beauty of the church.
God uses ordinary people who are willing to say yes.

Swipe through to see a few of the day jobs behind the worship team.

Jesus isn't looking for perfect people.

When doubts arise, look to His works. When burdens feel heavy, come to Him for rest. When the world offers religion without transformation, remember that Jesus desires hearts fully surrendered to Him.

The same invitation Jesus gave then is still available today:

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

No matter where you are in your faith journey, bring it to Jesus.

This week we’re thankful for the Barbour and Currin families, who serve faithfully on our greeter team at Central.

Greeters are often some of the first smiling faces people see when they walk through the doors on Sunday. They help create a warm, welcoming environment for guests, members, and families as they arrive for worship.

One of the sweetest things about these two families is seeing their daughters serve alongside them. What a gift for our kids to grow up learning that there is joy in serving the church together.

Thank you, Barbour and Currin families, for using your Sunday mornings to welcome others with kindness, joy, and a smile!

The cross is heavy, but it is necessary.

In this week’s Stroll in the Scriptures, Pastor James reflects on John 19 and the love Jesus showed through His death on the cross. When we feel unlovable, forgotten, or too far gone, the cross proves otherwise.

Jesus gave Himself for us, and that same love changes the way we see the people around us too. No one is beyond the reach of the gospel.

Take a few minutes to watch this week’s Stroll in the Scriptures, and come back next week as we look at the resurrection.
