What a fabulous night kicking off our eKids Summer Classes! ☀️🎉

In our Duct Tape – Armor of God class, kids created their own shields using duct tape as they learned about the Armor of God and how God protects us each day.

In Fruit Smash – Fruit of the Spirit, we used lemons and strawberries for a powerful object lesson. The strawberry represented a life without God’s love, while the lemon represented Jesus. As we wrapped more and more rubber bands around the fruit, it reminded us of the hurtful words and unkind actions we sometimes experience. When the fruit finally burst, we added baking soda and watched it bubble over, reminding us that no matter how many times people may hurt us, Jesus’ love never runs out and always shines through.

Our preschoolers had a blast in science class using invisible ink as they learned that even when we can’t see something, it can still be there just like God’s love.

Tonight we kick off our 8-week eKids Summer Classes! All kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade will have the opportunity to choose one of two exciting classes:

🛡️ Duct Tape – Armor of God
🍉 Fruit Smash – Fruit of the Spirit

Our preschoolers will be having fun in their own special class:
🕵️ Invisible Ink Club
👶 Nursery is available for our youngest children as well.

We can't wait to see all the kids learn, grow, make friends, and have fun this summer!

Reminder: Students who have completed 5th grade and will be entering 6th grade this fall will remain with eKids throughout the summer. Our official grade move-up takes place in August.
