“God wants me to be happy” → God wants me to be holy

God’s primary goal isn’t your comfort—it’s your Christ-likeness.
When “God wants me happy” becomes our theology, we often end up placing ourselves at the center of our lives and using happiness to justify whatever we want.

God doesn’t call us to chase our “best life now.”
He calls us to holiness.

And ironically, when we surrender our lives to Him, true joy begins to grow—regardless of our circumstances.

God’s will for your life is less like a hidden treasure map you’re trying to figure out and more like a relationship you’re walking in.

Stop being paralyzed searching for God’s secret plan. He’s already made clear so much of what He desires for you.

Walk closely with Him.
Be faithful in what He’s revealed.
And trust that He’s given you freedom to confidently follow Him along the way.

What a day of celebration! 🎉
Sunday we gathered as a church family to celebrate God’s faithfulness in paying off our mortgage. From great food and inflatables to laughter, fellowship, and worship, it was a reminder of what God has done through generations of faithful people at Hope Church.

We’re grateful for every person who has prayed, served, sacrificed, and given along the way. The mortgage may be paid off, but the mission keeps moving forward. 🙌

“Christians shouldn’t judge” → Christians should judge appropriately

Jesus didn’t say “never judge.”
He said to deal with the plank in your own eye first—then help your brother.

The goal isn’t condemnation, but discernment that leads to correction, restoration, and growth within the family of God.

This call isn’t to stop judging altogether, but to judge rightly—starting with yourself.

Otherwise, “don’t judge me” can become an excuse to do whatever we want while rejecting the loving correction God intends for His people.

Today, we celebrate something generations of people helped make possible.

After years of God’s faithfulness and the sacrificial generosity of our church family… the mortgage is officially PAID OFF. 🙌

So naturally… the pastors had to deliver the final payment in style. 🏍️🚓😂

What God has done through Hope Church is bigger than a building. This milestone frees us up for even more ministry, mission, and discipleship in the years ahead.

Thank you for being part of the story. The best is still ahead.
