What is WELCA? Women of the ELCA is our organization of women who learn, grow, serve, and deepen their faith in community together. HTLCs own chapter hosts Bible studies and various service opportunities including our thriving Tuesday quilt group whose work benefits the mission of Lutheran World Relief!

The celebration continued this morning as we give thanks for FIFTY INCREDIBLE YEARS of Noah’s Ark!! For FIVE DECADES Noah’s Ark has been taking the very best care of Dubuque’s littlest friends, and the celebration has been FULL of surprises!

First we found out… WE’RE GETTING A BUS!! 🚌

What?! Yes! And not just any bus! This bus will be an AMAZING tool to get our friends out immersed in community and service as tiny ambassadors!! Then we learned that the Northeastern Iowa Synod, ELCA (our Bishop’s office), has awarded this project an incredible $10,000 of seed money! WOW!!! That is nearly 1/3 the cost of the bus!!

Now, we need your help to get moving! We still have $23,000 to go! Make a donation on our website or in the link below…
