Midweek Motivation 🌿
It's the middle of the week. Maybe you're feeling tired, overwhelmed, or like there's still a mountain of tasks ahead of you.
Take a moment and remember: 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲.

The same God who carried you through Monday and Tuesday will carry you through the rest of the week. You don't have to have everything figured out. You don't have to do it all on your own.

Just take the next faithful step.
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." — Galatians 6:9

Keep showing up. Keep trusting. Keep praying.
God isn't finished yet. 💙

Sermon Recap: Every Thought Captive
2 Corinthians 10:1-5

Trust What Is True.
The battlefield of the Christian life is often not "out there" - it's in our minds. Thoughts can quickly become conclusions, convictions, and ultimately control our actions if left unchecked. Paul reminds us that not every thought is from God, and we are called to take every thought captive and bring it under the authority of Christ.

1. Recognize the Reality
We are in a spiritual battle, and the primary battlefield is our minds. The enemy seeks to confuse, distract, divide, and deceive us through lies and false thinking. If we don't recognize the attack, we'll never be prepared to fight it.

2. Use the Right Weapons
We cannot fight spiritual battles with worldly weapons. God has equipped us with prayer, faith, His Word, the Holy Spirit, and the armor of God. These are the weapons that tear down strongholds and help us stand firm against the enemy's attacks.

3. Take Every Thought Captive
Don't simply entertain every thought that enters your mind. Put your thoughts on trial against God's truth. Ask: Is this thought from God? Does it align with His Word? If not, reject it. Freedom comes when we trust God's truth over the enemy's lies.

Takeaway
If you don't take your thoughts captive, your thoughts will take you captive. The key to victory is learning to identify lies, replace them with truth, and trust what God says about you and your circumstances.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐀𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭!

Nathan and his fellow Scouts transformed our north entrance by removing the old landscaping, adding fresh rock and pavers, and building this beautiful table and bench seating area.

This space is more than just a landscaping project - it's an invitation to slow down, connect, and enjoy fellowship together. Whether it's sharing a conversation before church, gathering with friends, meeting for prayer, or simply enjoying a quiet moment, we hope this area will be a place where relationships grow and community flourishes.

Thank you, Nathan, for your hard work, leadership, and servant-hearted dedication to making FCC a more welcoming and inviting place for everyone. We are grateful for your investment in our church family and community!

Sermon Recap: Rebuild With The Word of God

1️⃣ Turn to the Word
When life feels uncertain, where do you go first? The people of Jerusalem didn't ask for entertainment, comfort, or distractions... they cried out, "Bring us the Book!" True revival begins when God's people hunger for God's Word.

2️⃣ Receive the Word
The people didn't just hear Scripture; they listened, understood, and allowed it to challenge their hearts. God's Word doesn't just inform us, it transforms us. Conviction isn't punishment; it's evidence that God is still working in us.

3️⃣ Apply the Word
God's Word was never meant to stay on a shelf or be limited to Sunday mornings. It should shape our decisions, relationships, priorities, and everyday lives. Applying God's Word may not change our circumstances, but it will change our perspective.

The joy of the Lord is our strength... not because life is easy, but because Jesus endured the cross for us. We are His joy!
