~Summer Missions Highlight~

Our final Summer Missions team member to highlight is John Szot of Great Bend. This is John's second summer on the team, previously serving on Totus Tuus. This summer, John will serve on the Prayer & Action and Camp Cristo Rey team in June, and the Totus Tuus team in July. John is entering his second year as a seminarian for the Diocese of Dodge City, living and studying at the House of Formation in Wichita

Totus Tuus is a Catholic youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through catechesis, evangelization, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship. Our week-long Parish Summer Catechetical Program assists parents and parishes in the evangelizing and catechizing of their youth by supplementing the work they are already doing.

This summer we will be serving children and teens at 14 locations. Our theme is the 10 Commandments and Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary.

~Summer Missions Highlight~

Pablo Aguilar of Garden City is joining us again for his second summer. Pablo previously served full-time on the Totus Tuus team. This year, he has joined the Prayer & Action team in June. While in college, Pablo also teaches music at St. Mary's Catholic School in Garden City. We are excited to have his expertise and talent back on the team this summer!

Camp Cristo Rey is a camp for middle schoolers (5th-8th grade) in the Diocese of Dodge City to discover more deeply the call of faith, and how to live it out. Our patron, St. José Sánchez del Río, boldly and bravely defended our common Catholic faith. We will learn how to do the same thing in our day, in our communities, and in our unique situations.
