First Baptist Church of Diamond, MO is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Missouri Baptist Convention, and the Spring River Baptist Association. We believe that every follower of Jesus is a minister and we are called to serve the Lord through His local church. At First Baptist Diamond, we do this by Serving God and Loving People. God has gifted each of us to be a part of His work and will empower us for good works. We consider it a privilege to be used by God and love seeing Him work in us and through us. We are commanded not to shelter the Gospel, but to share the Gospel. Located in the town of Diamond, Missouri, we have a vision to touch the Four State Area with the gospel of Jesus Christ through a wide variety of programs and ministries. Some of the things you will find are: Powerful and anointed proclamation of the WORD OF GOD; Passionate and meaningful worship; Comprehensive Bible study for all ages; A warm, loving, accepting and encouraging family of believers. At First Baptist Diamond, you will find the wonderful opportunity to provide your entire family with an atmosphere of Christian love and grace that will not only draw you closer to God and to each other, but will also equip you to deal with the cares and struggles of life and provide you with a loving family of believers to ensure that you never deal with any of those things alone.

CHILI COOK-OFF AND PIE AUCTION! 🌶️🥧

Mark your calendars and join us after Sunday worship on November 15th for a fun afternoon of food, fellowship, and friendly competition!

🌶️Chili cook-off🌶️
Think you have the best chili in town? Bring your best recipe and compete for staffs choice (voted on by our amazing church staff) or hottest chili! We’ll also have a People’s Choice Grand Champion award, so everyone gets to vote for their favorite!

🥧Pie auction for a great cause🥧
We’ll be auctioning off and donating delicious pies and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Newton County Food Basket Brigade, helping provide food to local families in need for the holidays.

Not interested in competing? No worries. The chili feed is separate from the competition. The church will provide chili for everyone to enjoy after worship, so everyone is welcome to come eat and enjoy the fun…even if you aren’t entering the cook-off! Bring a dessert for everyone to try!

Want to compete?
Sign up for the chili cook off or pie auction at the welcome center starting this Sunday!
