On Sunday, 25 October 2026, Christians of PC Akok Eloumdem 1 witnessed a historic moment as the congregation inaugurated its Christian Women Fellowship, followed by the admission of 12 new members into the movement Named the Batch of the Apostles

The service was presided over by the CWF Chaplain of the East Mungo North Presbytery, Rev. Bih Loveline, alongside the Parish Pastor of PC Akok Eloumdem 1, Rev. Fomuso Sama Jacob, who preached from Matthew 10:34–39. In his sermon, he challenged the newly admitted members to embrace their responsibilities within their families, remain faithful wives and devoted mothers, and demonstrate courage in witnessing to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The occasion was graced by the Regional Secretary for Women’s Work, Mrs. Nji Kelly Tabi, who represented the National Secretary, alongside Presbytery executives and delegates from other congregations who turned out to witness this memorable event.

The inauguration and admission of the 12 new members marked a significant milestone in the history of PC Akok Eloumdem 1 and the Christian Women Fellowship, ushering in a new chapter of service to the Eloumdem community.
