Show up as you are and join the fun! KidsCo, our childcare program, offers safe, caring childcare and activity time while moms gather. Or choose evening meetups, held on second Sundays at 6:00 p.m.

Today was filled with well-wishes, warm farewells, and plenty of handshakes and hugs as our St. Paul’s family bid farewell to vacancy senior pastor Mark Schudde. Worship this weekend included the service rite “Farewell and Godspeed to a Pastor,” with Pastor Schudde offering his final benediction from the chancel steps.

We give thanks for Pastor’s joyful, faithful, and dedicated shepherding of God’s people at St. Paul’s since November 2024 and for the Christ-centered care and servant-hearted leadership he has provided throughout our season of pastoral transition and ministry-expansion milestones.

In his first Sunday sermon as St. Paul’s senior pastor, Rev. Tom Schlund shared an impactful sermon message entitled “Genuine Love,“ emphasizing the perfect, genuine love we’ve been shown in Christ — a love that gives new life. As Christians who fear, love, and trust in God, His love flows back out into the world.

In many ways, August has been a month of new beginnings and celebrations at St. Paul's, and one new chapter worth celebrating is Sunday’s presentation of first Bibles to each second grader in the congregation.

At the church altar, parents placed the “Growing in Faith Bible” in their child’s hands, marking an early step in faith formation.

At the Bible Blastoff that followed, second-grade families enjoyed hands-on learning through a Bible scavenger hunt — navigating the pages, figures, and books of their new Bibles — and stopping at calligraphers’ stations to have their Bibles specially inscribed.

May God bless these young ones with hearts and minds that grow in the knowledge of God's Word.
