Praise the Lord! What a wonderful time of preaching, music, fellowship, and most of all, lifting up the Word of God! We had two preaching times separated by a potluck meal. Bro Chris Hilmer preached both sermons. First sermon "Whom we preach" was out of Colossians. Preaching and desiring ourselves and others to continually pursue Christ-likeness. Second sermon was expounding Psalms 86:11 (KJV) "Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name." Drawing from each line how we can practically pray to the Lord to know His will for our individual lives! Do not worry if you missed out! We have two more days of the conference left!! Tomorrow we will meet at 27 Rue Pat Burns Stanstead Quebec (Pat Burns Arena) 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Our third and final day we'll meet back at the Derby line village hall. We are so excited to see what God will do Monday and Tuesday! Please join us! If you cannot, pray for the conference. Let us get excited to grow in God's grace as we grow in His Word!

Are you going to the Bible on the Border conference? 2Pe 3:18 "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." God has given His Word so that we may know Him better. That word "grace" carries the idea of "unmerited favor," or getting something you do not deserve. God uses His Word to bestow His grace on us. From God's Word the lost sinner sees the sacrifice Jesus did by taking the punishment for our sin and offering eternal life to any who would believe on Him. For the Christian God gives grace to serve, go through trials, escape temptation, and every other need that we face in this life. Friend that grace comes from understanding the Bible better! How can you act on a promise you do not know? Harvest Baptist church's goal for this conference is to uplift the Word of God and to grow in His grace. We will be on both sides of the American/Canadian border. Sunday, November 1st 10:30 AM - Worship service (Lunch provided)
