If the morning got away before there was time to pray, the opportunity hasn’t passed…

The day may have already started but it’s not too late to pause before moving into whatever comes next!🙏

The truth is: we can prepare everything for the day…and still forget to prepare ourselves for it.👀

We charge the phone.
Check the route.
Pack what we need.
Review the schedule.
Mentally rehearse the conversation before it ever happens.

👉 But after taking care of all those details, we may still carry frustration from yesterday, anxiety about what’s ahead, assumptions about someone else, or impatience we haven’t brought before God.

Even in the middle of the day, prayer gives us an opportunity to pause and ask:

💭 Have I asked God for wisdom - or am I relying only on my own understanding?

💭 Is there frustration I need to surrender before entering this conversation?

💭 Is there someone I may be overlooking who needs patience, encouragement, or kindness from me?

➕Prayer can also reach beyond what is happening within us!

⚠️ God may redirect a plan, delay our timing, close a door, or protect us from something we never knew was ahead. We may never know all the ways He answered a prayer before we even recognized there was a need.

🚫 That doesn’t mean prayer guarantees every interaction will be easy or that nothing difficult will happen.

It means we can ask God to prepare our hearts, guide our steps, and go before us into the parts of the day that remain…the parts only He can see.

If the morning started without prayer, we don’t have to wait until tomorrow to begin again.
