Has God ever felt distant, silent, or far off?

Seasons like that can be extremely difficult… especially when you long for the encouragement of His nearness and the clarity of His voice.

Fr. speaks about those times of God’s apparent “absence” in a way that brings comfort and perspective. Just as a loving father may give his child room to grow, God’s seeming absence is not a literal withdrawal from us. Rather, it can be an invitation to mature, trust, and become who He is calling us to be.

He is not gone from you. He is growing you.
