🌹October is the month of the Holy Rosary, and our second graders are celebrating and honoring Mary, our Blessed Mother!

Throughout the month, students are learning more about Mary’s life and discovering the beauty of praying the Rosary. As a special tribute, each student brings flowers to present to Mary, placing them on the classroom prayer table. 💐

Thank you, Ms. Streib for this beautiful opportunity for our students to grow in faith, deepen their love for Mary, and take an active role in leading their classmates in prayer. We are so proud of our young disciples as they learn to follow Mary’s example of love, humility, and devotion to Jesus! 💙

🙏 Our Upper School students started the day with a beautiful morning of prayer and reflection, focusing on the virtues that guide us as followers of Christ.

Each week leading up to Thanksgiving, our parish Middle School and High School Religious Education Directors are preparing our students for an upcoming retreat centered on virtuous relationships and what it means to live out our faith as Christ followers.

Through prayer, reflection, and meaningful discussions, our students are growing in their understanding of how to build Christ-centered relationships and put their faith into action each day. ✝️

What a beautiful way to begin the day by strengthening our faith, nurturing our character, and growing together in Christ!

🌎🪇🪗 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at ICCS! 🇲🇽🇨🇴🇪🇸

Our 5th graders brought learning to life during our Hispanic Heritage Celebration! Students researched the culture, traditional foods, and highlights of 21 Hispanic countries and shared their discoveries with our school community.

From learning fascinating facts about each country, to tasting authentic foods, our students enjoyed an engaging, hands-on experience celebrating the rich diversity and traditions of the Hispanic world. Our 5th graders even dressed in clothing representing their respective countries, showing thoughtful appreciation and respect for the cultures they represented! 🌮💃 🌺

What a wonderful way to learn about the world, celebrate our differences, and grow in understanding and appreciation for one another! Here at ICCS, we are proud to foster a love of learning, cultural appreciation, and respect for all!
