Sr Adult Game Day never disappoints and June’s was no exception. The baked potato bar and toppings were a big hit, not to mention all the desserts, and of course the bingo! Make plans to join us at Noon in the Fellowship Hall, Thursday, July 9 for our next Sr Adult Game Day.

Long time First Denton member Rynell Novak passed away May 20. A celebration of Rynell's life is planned for Sunday, June 14 at 5:00pm in the chapel at Denton Village, 2500 Hinkle Drive, Denton, TX 76201. The service will be preceded by a time of visitation with the family at 4:00pm.

Both WEBS and Wednesday night prayer resume this Wednesday, June 10. Join us at Noon in the Fellowship Hall for WEBS as we continue our study of Proverbs in Chapter 8 and at 6pm in Rm. W101 as we pray for the needs of our families, our church, our country, and the world.

Long time First Denton member Mary Beth Woodall passed away May 27. A Memorial service will be held for Mary Beth at Flower Mound Funeral Home at 11:00am on Friday, June 5.

In lieu of VBS WEBS will not meet tomorrow, June 3. We will return next Wednesday, June 10, at Noon in the Fellowship Hall and continue our study in Proverbs 8. Please keep both children (492) and volunteers (199) in your prayers throughout the week and in particular this Wednesday as Dr. Jeff shares the gospel!

We had a great time at our “Back-up Plan Mystery Lunch” yesterday. Our original excursion was going to be outdoors, but because of the weather, we moved indoors and made lemonade out of lemons! Thank You, Lord for the rain! If you missed it, another marvelously mysterious mystery lunch trip awaits in June!
