Attention ICC families, to reduce the amount of disruptions and to increase our parishioners ability to listen during the proclaiming of God‘s word, beginning the weekend of July 4-5, we will begin having ushers hold parishioners in the Narthex during the proclaiming of God‘s word, until the reading of the Gospel has been completed. If you arrive at mass after the first reading has been started, the ushers will politely ask you to wait in the Narthex until after the reading of the Gospel. We have already begun doing this at the masses in Spanish, and are giving everyone advanced notice at the masses in English of the new policy. We ask that you please be courteous with our ushers while instituting the new policy. We understand things arise and a lot of the surrounding areas are under construction, however we encourage you to allow for extra time when commuting to mass so you and your family can arrive at mass before we begin the proclaiming of God‘s word. Thank you for your help and attention to this new policy.
