What a picture.

People we would expect to see. People we wouldn't. People from every direction gathered at the Lord's table.

The Church doesn't belong to us. It belongs to Christ.

And week after week, He continues to call sinners to Himself, forgive sins, speak His Word, and feed His people.

There is something about August that reminds us just how quickly the seasons pass. The days are getting a little shorter. Gardens are producing. Fields are changing. Before long, another summer will be behind us.

And yet our hope isn't found in things staying the same.

Our hope is in the God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

This week, we're thankful for the old hymns that have carried the Church's confession from one generation to the next.

Walking the car show.

Chasing kids around the bounce house.
