Join us along with members of Peace United Methodist Church Green Bay Wisconsin for their last service at 919 Schwartz St before they join our families in Denmark

We want to share an important update with our Peace United Methodist Church community.

After much prayer and thoughtful discussion, Peace UMC has made the decision to merge with Zion United Methodist Church. This was not an easy decision. Like many churches, we have experienced a decline in membership over the past several years. Our congregation has lovingly walked alongside many members as they have transitioned into nursing homes or, sadly, passed away. This has also impacted our ability to sustain the financial needs of our church.

While we are deeply saddened that we will no longer be worshipping at 919 Schwartz St., we are also filled with hope for what comes next.

We have built a strong and meaningful relationship with Zion UMC over the years, serving side by side in ministry. Zion has a growing congregation, including a vibrant children’s ministry, and we look forward to continuing our faith journey together.

This is not an ending, but a new chapter. The spirit and legacy of Peace UMC will continue as we join in shared worship, fellowship, and service with Zion.

Join us for our last worship service at 919 Schwartz Street this Sunday at 10:30am with a potluck to follow.

Joyful Noise learned about each day of Holy Week, complete with palms, flipping tables, trying traditional seder meal items, communion, feet washing, deciding what it would cost for them to betray a friend and pounding nails in to a wooden heart. It was a very impactful message using all of our senses to fully experience Holy Week in a new way.
We would also like to express a special thanks to Pastor Tamra’s Mom who blessed us all with a delicious meal and Miss Mary Ann for always providing treats and fun things to celebrate the holidays.
