A Grief Support Gathering hosted by the Circle of Faith Churches will be held Sunday, September 13 at St. James Church in Cooperstown from noon until 2:00pm. The topic is Where Are You God in the Midst of my Grief? As faith questions arise during the agonizing times after the death of a loved one, a person might ask, How can I pray when I hurt so much? What do I do when the ways I used to pray don’t work anymore? This session will help us see that God is not only the God of the sufferers, but the God who suffers, and can provide comfort to those in the midst of grief.
