Matthew 9:13 - "Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous but sinners."

Jesus sat with tax collectors and sinners for a meal, and he called Matthew the tax collector to be one of his disciples. That's good news. All are welcome at our Lord's table because we are all beneficiaries of God's mercy.
