New Beginnings Community Church - Carbondale, IL We are a welcoming church. All are invited to come and be discipled by Jesus with us.

New Beginnings Community Church of the Nazarene is a Bible believing church residing in the community of Carbondale, Illinois. New Beginnings was founded on the scripture in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” If you would like to learn about the love of Jesus Christ then please come as you are (jeans and shorts are always welcomed), enjoy a cup of coffee and let us share the love of God with you.

This Saturday, we have our fun and exciting VBS day planned! Each year, we have our offering competition boys vs. girls. This year, instead of water balloons or pies we are going buckets of slime. Our offering collected will be to purchase Thai-English Bibles for the children’s home in Thailand with Ken and Danaka. Every $7 purchases a new Bible! If you want to see either Pastor Brian or Pastor Kristena get slimed, please put “slime Brian” or “slime Kristena” in the note.

We have rescheduled VBS to a one day event, on August 29 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

All children, 4-16 years old are welcome and the van will be picking up those that call or text for a ride.

Please share this post so we can reach as many children as we can in our community!

Due to unforeseen issues, we must postpone our Vacation Bible School set for August 3-5.
It is our intention to reschedule this to an all day Saturday event at the end of the month.

Celebrate the incredible fathers in our community with us this Sunday! Join our special Father's Day service, starting with a complimentary breakfast at 8:30 AM, followed by Discipleship/Sunday School at 9:00 AM, and our Worship service at 10:00 AM, where every father in attendance will receive a token of appreciation.
