New Beginnings Community Church of the Nazarene is a Bible believing church residing in the community of Carbondale, Illinois. New Beginnings was founded on the scripture in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” If you would like to learn about the love of Jesus Christ then please come as you are (jeans and shorts are always welcomed), enjoy a cup of coffee and let us share the love of God with you.

For several years, I would annually lead my congregation through John Wesley’s Covenant Service. The service not only invites believers to renew their commitment to follow Jesus but also leads the church through corporate confession of sin and assurances of God’s forgiveness and transformation.
