This is what generosity looks like. ❤️ Thank you to the Covenant UMC congregation and community who came together to donate school supplies for Fostering Hope Delco, and the response was overwhelming. Check out this video from Debbie at Fostering Hope, her words are more powerful than anything we could say here.

What did your donations bring?
There were enough supplies donated for a local organization to host TWO drop in days, where foster families could come in and choose what their children need for the school year.

Instead of just telling you how many crayons, notebooks, pencils, folders, markers, glue sticks, scissors, backpacks, and pencil cases were collected, look at the picture.

Those bags under the table are stuffed with supplies. They are filled with the things children need to walk into a classroom prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

That is what your generosity means.

It means a foster parent has one less expense to carry.
It means a child gets to choose supplies that are theirs.
It means a new school year can begin with a little more dignity and a little less worry.

To everyone who gave, shared, packed, sorted, encouraged, or simply helped spread the word: Thank you. From the bottom of our hearts.

You didn't just donate school supplies. You showed these families that their community is behind them. ❤️
