Women’s Heritage Workshop
Saturday, September 19 -- 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in fellowship hall
Linda Richardson will help us explore the meaning of “heritage” and how significant it is for our family history and legacy. Please gather pictures of one family member and learn practical and aesthetically pleasing ways to share your family heritage. Art supplies will be available as well as examples. Special Meeting
Thank you to those of you who attended the Special Meeting on August 2nd. Details of several large projects/expenses were laid out for consideration, however, less than half of the church members were present, deferring a vote. Therefore, the Trustees are calling for another Special Meeting to take place on Sunday, September 13. Members, please mark your calendars and plan to attend.

On Saturday, August 4, The Blue Church was blessed to participate in Springfield Township’s National Night Out. During the event many adult and children’s Bibles were handed out along with balloons, water-ice, bottles of water and church pamphlets! Kids who visited the table were happy to make bracelets that taught them about the Gospel. And many hands made light work as old and young alike participated in this outreach effort. Overall, it was a wonderful time to meet many from the Springfield Community, support the Springfield Police, and let people know that The Blue Church is Christ-Centered and Bible-based!
