"Children of God"
Sunday, Oct 11 at 9:00 & 11:00am
Livestream begins at 9:30am

With the algorithms that influence and shape your life, it’s easy to lose your identity in a world that tracks you, keeps you scrolling, and coming back for more. Although the means has changed dramatically, it’s an age-old challenge. So John boldly reminds his listeners that they must not be defined by the world. They are children of God!

Join us this Sunday at LIFE Church Springfield as we dig into First John 2:28-3:10. You’ll also be encouraged by the life-transformation stories of those being baptized in water. Moving worship, good Word, and growing family—it’s going to be a powerful Sunday at LIFE!

"Steep Competition"
Sunday, Oct 4 at 9:00 & 11:00am
Livestream begins at 9:30am

The journey of following Jesus is filled with wonder and woe. We experience the deep peace in His presence, and great joy in our freedom in Christ. But there are also forces that war against this new life. The world competes for our allegiance to God’s kingdom, and spiritual wickedness assaults us with lies and temptations. Therefore we are engaged in a real fight that requires faithfulness and Spirit dependence.

We’re back to our “Light. Life. Love.” series this Sunday. And we’ll examine John’s powerful teaching in 1st John 2:15-27. It’s fuel for continued growth in our pursuit of “rooted faith, transforming purpose” at LIFE Church. Join us for another day of heartfelt worship, powerful teaching, and meaningful fellowship!

A Personal Message from Pastor Bob...

"How Can They Hear?"

It’s the BIG QUESTION that is posed by the Apostle Paul in Romans 10. It’s the response to the promise, “Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” The is the question that troubles every missionary who is called to go and proclaim the good news to those who have not heard. But it’s also a question that should trouble every believer who gives themselves to follow the teaching and lifestyle of Jesus.

It’s MISSIONS IMPACT WEEKEND for us at LIFE Church Springfield. This is an annual time of value clarification. While bombarded with worries and cares in this world, this weekend we shift from politics, sports, the economy, entertainment, etc, to the mandate of the church—advance God’s kingdom by proclaiming the good news.

I’m asking for an “ALL IN” response from you. Join us on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You’ll hear from amazing missionaries. And we’ll partner in prayer for the harvest fields of the world, including our own back yard. And we’ll ask God to transform us into the surrendered servants who are part of the solution to the BIG QUESTION, “How Can They Hear?”

For Missional Living,
Pastor Bob & Esther
