BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Southern Baptist churches saw sustained growth in attendance and baptisms, but the two-decade membership decline continued in 2025.

Are you planning to go on a mission trip this year? Apply today!

Named in honor of Jeff and Barb Singerman — who served as IMB missionaries in Africa for over 30 years and now serve in Missions Mobilization at First Baptist Kettering — this scholarship exists to help equip and send the next generation of missionaries from our association.

Each year, GDAB awards scholarships of $250 to four different active members of GDAB churches.

To apply, you'll need:

• A written personal testimony

• At least two paragraphs describing your past and/or present involvement in church, school, and community mission projects

• A letter of personal recommendation from a church leader

If you're an active member of a GDAB church and are planning a short-term mission trip, we encourage you to apply.

Pastors and leaders of GDAB recently gathered to celebrate what God has been doing in our midst, and spur each other on to stronger gospel partnerships! Around 65 people were present in our quarterly meeting. We connected with ministries Speak For the Unborn and Communio. We approved funding for two new church plants (The Church at Kettering and Old North Baptist Church). Our Associational Missionary also unveiled a new ministry to pastors and churches, “Sabbatical Support.”

Thank you to our hosts, Fairborn FBC, who spoiled us with servant-hearted hospitality, and a phenomenal feast! Well done!
