Each child is unique -- a special gift from God to be cared for, loved and nurtured. Children should grow and learn while having fun! A caring, Christian community provides the best atmosphere for a child’s early education. Zion’s education philosophy focuses on the child rather than the teacher. We believe that children learn best through their own discoveries, active coopera

tive learning, experiments, questioning, sharing, speaking and listening. As teachers, our role is to make the children’s activities as fun and interesting as possible, and then guide the children through these activities -- not dictate them. Also, through our everyday actions we will be serving as constant Christian role models to the children. Zion’s Non-Discriminatory Policy

Zion Lutheran Preschool currently has a limited number of full-day openings in our Kindergarten Readiness classroom for the 2026–2027 school year! 💜

Growing Hearts and Minds

Preschool is about so much more than academics.

Through social-emotional learning, children are learning how to name their feelings, recognize emotions in others, calm their bodies, communicate their needs, and problem-solve with friends.

Our Calm Corner is one way we support these skills. It gives children a safe space to pause, use calming tools, and work through big feelings with support.

These everyday moments help children build confidence, empathy, self-control, and healthy friendships skills, they will carry with them far beyond the preschool classroom.

Zion Lutheran Preschool offers programs for children ages 2.5–5, including Early Preschool, Preschool, and Kindergarten Readiness.

We offer 2, 3, and 5 day programs, half-day and full-day options, before and aftercare, faith-based learning, and small class sizes.
