We are pleased to announce that VBS will begin tomorrow, May 31st, on Sunday evening. In light of the weather forecast, we have made arrangements to relocate the registration table to the sanctuary. Please ensure your children are registered between 5:15-5:30 PM, as we will be starting supper promptly at 5:30 PM. We are looking forward to having a wonderful week learning and celebrating who Jesus really is!

We invite you to join us this Sunday, May 31st, for VBS, which will run from May 31st to June 4th. Registration will begin at 5:15. Supper for VBS kids and workers will be at 5:30. VBS rotations will be from 6:00 to 8:30. Ages 3 years old to 6th grade.

We live in a world of shortcuts — same-day delivery, instant downloads, fast-tracked everything. So when life hands us a slow, hard season, we instinctively look for the quickest way out.

But the strongest character isn't microwaved. It's slow-cooked over years of trials accepted, temptations resisted, and seasons endured. The very thing we want to skip is the very thing forming us. There's no app for spiritual maturity — only the long, faithful walk of trusting God through what we'd rather avoid.

What "test" might God be using to build endurance in you right now?

Dear parents, culture claims to know about Jesus, but many people are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history or a good man or a good teacher, but He is more than that! This summer, VBS shines a light on the truth of who Jesus really is.

Meet us at Illumination Station for the brightest week of the year. Focus on Jesus at Spotlight Bible study and bask in the colorful glow of sunlight streaming in at Suncatcher Recreation. Twirl in the glittering refracted light of Mirror Ball music and pass through strands of Twinkling lights on the way to Kaleidoscope Crafts. And bring it all the way down from the Glow-in-the-dark Missions. Kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world! Like the disciples, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus’ question, “Who do you say that I am?” They will discover it’s not a matter of opinion; Jesus is who Scripture says He is—the perfect, proven, and powerful Son of God.

Our church is eagerly waiting to welcome your children to this free event.

Walden Chapel Baptist Church extends a warm invitation to join our Vacation Bible School, 'Illumination Station: Shining A Light On Who Jesus Is!', scheduled from May 31st to June 4th.

Registration will be from 5:15 to 5:30 p.m., followed by supper for VBS kids and workers from 5:30 to 5:55 p.m.

6:00 to 8:30 pm
Our VBS program includes a variety of activities such as rotation stops, worship rally, bible study, crafts, music, missions, and recreation. We invite you to participate in this exciting event!
