This week, we kicked off the start of college football season with a little team spirit of our own! 🏈 Our kids came dressed in their favorite team apparel and showed off their school pride before heading to the gym for an exciting game of football!

Employee of the Month — July & August

Thursday night, we had the opportunity to recognize two very deserving members of our team as our Employees of the Month for July and August! We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, love, and hard work they bring to Central Park Childcare every day.

July Employee of the Month — Ms. Rhonda Nash

Ms. Rhonda is one of our wonderful Turtle teachers, and she has worked incredibly hard to move her classroom and create an environment that encourages growth, development, and learning for each of her children.

You can almost always find Ms. Rhonda down on the floor playing, singing, talking, and interacting with her children. She has such a natural ability to connect with them, and it is easy to see just how much she loves each and every one of them. Her classroom is filled with warmth, learning, and lots of fun!

Ms. Rhonda is truly an asset to our team, and we are so thankful for everything she does for our children and our center!

August Employee of the Month — Ms. Morgan Beck

Ms. Morgan has been part of our Central Park family for over 5 years, working around her school schedule. This summer, she stepped in and worked full-time, and she never hesitated to jump in wherever she was needed.

And when we say wherever she was needed, we mean it! Some days that meant working in 4 or even 5 different classrooms. No matter where she was placed, Morgan always showed up with a positive attitude, a smile on her face, and a willingness to help. She is hardworking, dependable, flexible, and incredibly dedicated to our center.

Next week, Morgan heads back to school, so we will only get to have her with us on Fridays. While we are definitely going to miss having her with us throughout the week, we are so thankful we will still get to see her every Friday!

To help send her off to a great start, our staff put together a special back-to-school basket for her. We hope it helps make her first week back a little easier and reminds her just how loved and appreciated she is!

Thank you, Ms. Rhonda and Ms. Morgan, for all of your hard work, dedication, and the love you pour into our children. We are so incredibly lucky to have you both on our team!

✨ What a GREAT first day of school! ✨

We had the best time welcoming our children for the start of a brand-new school year! We loved seeing all the excited faces as our friends came in eager to see their new classrooms, meet their teachers, and settle into their new routines.

Our first day was packed with fun, learning, and LOTS of smiles! We spent time getting to know our new classrooms and friends, enjoying Circle Time, exploring our centers, and getting creative with our sensory bins. We also made sure to get plenty of fresh air and sunshine while playing outside!

And of course, Monday wouldn’t be complete without Movement Monday! We headed to the gym this afternoon to get those wiggles out, move our bodies, and have a whole lot of fun. We even squeezed in a few dance parties because every great first day needs a little dancing!

Day 1 was a success, and we are already looking forward to another amazing day tomorrow! Here’s to a wonderful new school year filled with learning, laughter, friendship, growth, and so many special memories.

We had such a great turnout for Open House tonight! It was so nice seeing so many of our families, both new and returning, come through and get a glimpse of what this year has in store.

Our classrooms are ready, our teachers are excited, and we are beyond ready to welcome all of our sweet kiddos into their new rooms. We’ve put so much time and love into preparing for this school year, and we can’t wait to watch your children learn, grow, and thrive with us.

Successful teacher workday in the books!

Our team spent the day preparing the building for floor waxing and stripping, while also diving into some serious deep cleaning in their classrooms. From clearing out old, broken toys to setting up fresh materials, everything is coming together beautifully as we get ready for Open House this Thursday!

The building is looking amazing, with some classroom changes, new themes, and updated schedules going up. We are officially ONE week away from the new school year, and we can’t wait to welcome all of our children into their new rooms!

We also felt incredibly loved and appreciated today. Our church family blessed our teachers with breakfast and lunch, and one of our CPKids brought the sweetest gifts to share with each teacher—it truly touched every heart.

These ladies have such a genuine gift for serving and loving children, and it showed in every bit of the hard work they poured into today. We are so grateful for this amazing team!
