Our men went on a retreat this weekend and spent time going through the book of Judges with Pastor Brandon Briscoe of Midtown Baptist Temple.

On Sunday, we got to hear some awesome testimonies of what God did in the hearts of the men over the weekend, as well as the capstone message of this series.

Brother Brandon started his message with this powerful statement:

“Being gifted enough for God to use you is not the same thing as being surrendered enough for God to finish His work through you.”

This message, based on Samson and his compromised leadership, was hard-hitting and gave us so much to consider.

Are you taking your calling seriously?
Are you surrendered?
Are you neglecting your walk with God and allowing gifting to replace spiritual power?

This is a must-hear message.
