This week’s "recoveryism"... When was your last VICTORY party?
As you travel the road of recovery, you can get so caught up in where you think you should be, you miss your victories along the way; all those times where you may have been tempted or found yourself wanting something not good for you and you turned away and stayed on your recovery path. Instead of focusing on the temptation or the want, look at yourself and feel good about the strength of the Spirit within you that helped you turn away. Celebrate the victories that the strength of the Lord gives you!
"For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure." 2 Samuel 22:32-33
