REMNANT REMINDER!

JESUS NEVER CALLED US TO BUILD BIG CROWDS—HE CALLED US TO MAKE DISCIPLES!

The modern Church has often confused Attendance with Transformation, Popularity with Anointing, and Crowded Buildings with Successful Ministries. However, Jesus never measured the success of the Kingdom by the size of the crowd.

Crowds followed Jesus when bread was multiplied, miracles were performed, and His Power was visibly displayed. But when He began speaking about Surrender, Obedience, Sacrifice, and the High Cost of following Him, the Crowds began to slowly shrink.

When the bread was no longer being freely distributed and His words became difficult, many turned back and walked with Him no more.

By many of today’s Ministry Standards, Jesus would have been considered a failure in ministry. He began with multitudes surrounding Him, yet at the Cross only a handful remained nearby. But Jesus was never trying to collect admirers, entertain spectators, or build the largest gathering.

Jesus was Building more than Ministries or Programs He was Raising Up Disciples!

A true disciple is more than a Church Member or Regular Attender. A disciple is more than someone who enjoys worship, listens to sermons, or follows Jesus when life is….Comfortable.

A True Disciple has received the revelation of who Jesus really is: Lord of lords, King of kings, the promised Messiah, and the Crucified and Risen Savior. Because they truly know who He is, they have completely surrendered their lives to Him. He is not someone they seek only on Sundays!

Jesus said, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me” (Matthew 16:24).

To deny yourself means that Jesus no longer exists merely to bless your plans—your life now belongs to His purpose. A disciple does not come to Jesus only asking, “What can You do for me?” A disciple asks, “Lord, what would You have me do?”

A True Disciple does not negotiate with the King, obey only when His commands are comfortable, or follow only while the bread is multiplying and the miracles are flowing.

A True Disciple has settled the matter in their heart: Wherever He leads, they will follow; whatever He requires, they will Surrender; and whatever it Costs, they know He is Worthy.

Disciples want more than information about Jesus; they desire intimacy with Jesus. They are not merely curious about Him or intrigued by His power. They want to know His heart, obey His voice, participate in His Kingdom, and become part of what He is doing in the earth.

The real question confronting the Church is not simply, “How Many People are Gathering?” The real question is, “How Many People are being Transformed into Obedient Followers of Jesus Christ?”

Crowds can gather without repentance. Buildings can be filled without lives being surrendered. Ministries can become popular without producing mature Sons and Daughters of the Kingdom.

We must STOP measuring Spiritual Success only by How Many People come and begin examining what those who come are becoming.

A crowd may celebrate Jesus when He provides the bread, but a disciple will follow Jesus all the way to the Cross!

The hour is too late for a Church filled with spectators, consumers, and admirers. The King is calling for True Disciples—people who will deny themselves, carry the Cross, obey when it costs them something, and remain faithful when others walk away. He is calling for people who do not merely attend church but have completely surrendered their lives to His Kingdom.

Jesus is not looking for a Larger Audience. He is Raising a Surrendered Remnant.

The question is not merely whether you are following Jesus while following Him is beneficial, comfortable, and popular.

The Real Question is: Will you still follow Him when Following Him Costs You Everything - Your Hobbies - Your Profession - Your Friends - Your Family - Your ________?
