How does the idea of being "dearly loved" influence the way you view your daily responsibilities and live your daily life?

Ephesians 5:1 So imitate God. Follow Him like adored children, 2 and live in love as the Anointed One loved you—so much that He gave Himself as a fragrant sacrifice, pleasing God. Voice Translation

Sometimes people ask, "how can I hear God". Of course he can and does speak to us through Scripture, nature, other people, however the New Covenant is explicit for the person who is born again that God who dwells within us also communicates with us. Perhaps it's as simple as we should just pay attention to what he is saying.

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside God’s grace, because if righteousness could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing! Galatians 2:20-21 NET

The Gospel is all about performance. The Good News is it's not ours. It is the performance of Jesus the Messiah through whom we have faith because of his faithfulness.

From Pastor Alan Wright Ministries...

May you delight
In God’s presence today
Knowing that
You have received
Nothing less
Than the ‘Gospel of God” (Romans 1:1)—
God’s Gospel,
The Gospel that originates with God
And culminates with God,
And consists of God.

As John Piper put it,
“God is the Gospel.”

What you have received,
Child of God,
Is not merely salvation from your sins,
Healing from your brokenness,
Or freedom from your shame.

What Christ has purchased,
The reason for the bloody cross,
And glorious resurrection,
Is the gift of God Himself,
Now and forever

So it comes down to this: since you have been raised with the Anointed One, the Liberating King, set your mind on heaven above. The Anointed is there, seated at God’s right hand. Stay focused on what’s above, not on earthly things, because your old life is dead and gone. Your new life is now hidden, enmeshed with the Anointed who is in God.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everythingin the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can seeand the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body.He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead.So he is first in everything. For God in all his fullnesswas pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciledeverything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earthby means of Christ’s blood on the cross.
