We had quite the celebration bringing in our welcome to SUMMER! Thanks to all our helpers, we were able to enjoy painting, fishing, kickball, playing bingo and shopping for prizes, and ice cream sundaes!
Most importantly, we learned that we can all choose to follow Jesus just like Peter!
Our next event will be our Summer Sundays down on the farm. We will have 4 Sundays of VBS fun, so save the dates!

Bring the kiddos for our Summer Celebration!

Friday's Preschoolers morning out/Wee Wonders:
We learned that God gives us hope! In our Bible story, we learned how Peter made a mistake that denied a friendship with Jesus. Jesus showed Peter that his friendship would never end. He loved Peter so much and he loves us. We can have hope that even if we make a mistake, he is still our helper and friend. The kids had fun with Miss Debbie and Miss Diane. We ended our time together with the kids making forts and having a camp fire.

Sunday in Kidz Zone we started our series on Hope! Our Bible story was on Peter. We learned that even when we feel sad, disappointed, or ashamed, Jesus gives us HOPE.
Spending time with God every day fills our hearts with HOPE.
Week 1 Family Bible Time:
1Peter 1:3-5
1Peter 1:6-7
Romans 5:3-5
Psalms 23:1-3
Psalms 23:4-6
This Sunday, the kids will learn that God has good plans for us.

We loved our last week of Wednesday After School Program. We have enjoyed having the kids this school year and sharing Jesus with them. Parents, thank you for transporting the kids to us! Thanks so much for our Wednesday team of volunteers. The kids absolutely look forward to seeing you.

Today at after school we talked about how Jesus is our rock. String, stable, secure and dependable. We did rock painting to remind us of Jesus and the faithful strength he brings us.
We got bonus gym time, and these kiddos definitely need showers!!
We celebrated Annie's birthday and a birthday snack she shared with us.
Next week will be our last afterschool program for the school year.

Today at After School Program:
We got to hear part of Joseph's story of his brothers trying to hurt him and get rid of him. We talked about how that would make him feel, and how it would make us feel.
Our need to know:
I can trust God when I feel:
Sad, scared, worried and mad.
We can trust because God promises that we are never alone!
