Sunday was our Back to School Bash. Not only did we have our great group of helpers from church , but we also had some of our Northridge LifeWise friends come and be part of the evening. Thank you Miss Brenda for bringing our LifeWise bus for the Praise and Prayer Station. The kids were excited to see it. (Some said, "I've never been on a bus.") Thank you Miss Kelly and Miss Sandy for coming to help and share Gods love with kids in the community.
The theme of the night was "Chewing on Gods Word." We learned how Gods word can help us have a great school year as we make friends with everyone, stick close together to help each other, and to be respectful of all important instruction. The older kids wrote out prayers and the littles drew their prayers. Thanks to parents for sharing your kids with us, so we could continue to share Jesus! Our next Kids Connect will be September 27th from 5-7.

What exactly do we do at Croton Church of Christs kids events??
If you are a parent and would like to know more about our events, this explains what offer.
Monthly Kids Events are usually called, "Kids Connect". For our event this Sunday, we named it "Back To School Bash" because of timing.
Croton Church hosts and provides dinner. Think of these as a once of month VBS. The structure is very much the same. Kids come to Kidz Zone building and have crafts, games, snack or dinner (usually we provide dinner), and a lesson.
The goal: Kids spend time with friends, make new friends as they also grow more in knowing of Gods Love.
Parents are ALWAYS welcome to observe🙂
Please share this info if you know of anyone with children. We would love to be part of helping a child grow in knowing Jesus.

Another wrap up of VBS. This summer we have prayed for all the many churches who are sharing the love of Jesus and planting the seeds in the precious lives of children through the VBS season. Thank you to the many who have been able to come out to our Summer Sundays and pour into the kids from our community. Those who couldn't help in person, we thank you for your prayers and generous donations for yummy snacks. We pray these children will continue to follow Jesus daily. Thank you to all the families for sharing your kiddos! It's a privilege to share the Gospel with your children.
Our next outreach for children is August 30th, at our Back to School Bash!

Summer Sundays Down on the Farm, we learned that God grows Joy in our hearts as we follow him. What Joy we had in sharing Jesus with all these kids! Thank you Jack Danhauer from r being our visiting Bee Keeper. The kids loved learning about Bees and Honey. Your Honey sticks were a hit! Thank you Texas Roadhouse in Newark for donating dinner rolls to go with our "Special Projects," while we created Honey Butter. Honey Butter. Thank you Kenny Rupp for donating Honey for our project. Thank you Miss Brittany for bringing your rabbits. For all our helpers on Sunday night, thank you for creating VBS fun and sharing Jesus with the kids. Our last night of VBS for the summer will be on July 26, all kiddos welcome🙂🙂
