Our church is active with lively services, sunday school, youth services, monthly ladies’ meetings, Kidz Church and section rallies. We have a benevolence ministry and have been developing a van mini

stry over the past several months. Established in June, 1968 the church was formerly Creston United Pentecostal Church and later became Apostolic Lighthouse as the church changed Pastors. In 2004, the church was renamed Creston Pentecostal Church to maintain identity with the local Creston community of Crossville, Tennessee. In the past two years, we have been in a building program and have seen our Fellowship Hall remodeled, and our Sunday School classes and sanctuary updated. In 2007, we upgraded our sound system and built the sound room including the installation of a church projector system. We are excited about the new changes and look to the future as our expansion continues. We invite you to come be part of our growth and our passion! The church is situated just minutes from I-40 on the Cumberland Plateau in Middle Tennessee, located at 1090 Creston Rd., Crossville, TN 38571.

Pastor Stine’s father, Don Stine, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday this week. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of this great man, but we rejoice in his heavenly reward.

Primary funeral arrangements are next Tuesday (7/21) in Johnson City, but many of you asked about doing something local here to honor his life and support Bro. Stine. We will have a memorial service this Sunday at 10am at the church and the Stine family appreciates everyone’s prayers, support, and kind words during this difficult time.

We will have potluck style lunch following the service, please let Sis. Rachel know if you plan to bring a dish.

Today we had our Freedom Sunday with Bro. Tyler Smith as our special evangelist! We are thankful for our freedom in this country, but most thankful for the true freedom we have in Jesus!
