Day 5: Producing Fruit Before the Harvest

Reading: John 15:1-8

Devotional: Jesus didn't place you in the vineyard to be a barren fig tree. Wherever your feet stand—your workplace, neighborhood, family—that's your assigned vineyard, and your time is limited. The harvest is coming. God isn't asking for perfection; He's asking for fruitfulness. Branches connected to the Vine naturally produce fruit. The question isn't whether you're capable, but whether you're connected. Abide in Christ, and fruit becomes inevitable. Today, identify one specific way you can produce kingdom fruit where God has planted you. Share the gospel with a coworker. Serve your family sacrificially. Show unexpected kindness. Don't wait until conditions are perfect. The Master is coming, and He's looking for fruit. Will He find it in your vineyard?

Day 4: Stewards, Not Owners

Reading: Matthew 21:33-41

Devotional: The tenant farmers forgot a crucial truth: they were stewards, not owners. The vineyard was never theirs. We easily fall into the same deception, treating our lives, families, and resources as our own possessions rather than God's gifts entrusted to us temporarily. Everything we have is on lease from heaven. God expects us to produce fruit with what He's given us—not to hoard it, waste it, or claim ownership. Are you living like an owner or a faithful steward? The Master is returning to collect His harvest. When He examines your life, will He find fruit produced for His kingdom, or will He find you've been living for yourself? Remember: faithful stewardship begins with acknowledging His ownership.

Day 3: The Rejected Cornerstone

Reading: Psalm 118:19-29

Devotional: The stone the builders rejected became the cornerstone—the most critical piece of the entire structure. Jesus, rejected by religious experts, became the foundation of salvation. Every building depends on the accuracy of its cornerstone; if it's off even slightly, the entire structure fails. What are you building your life upon? Your career? Your reputation? Your own wisdom? These are unstable foundations. When you build on Christ—the perfect cornerstone—everything else aligns properly: your relationships, your purpose, your peace. Today, evaluate what's shaky in your life. Chances are, it's built on something other than Jesus. Rebuild on the only foundation that will withstand every storm and stand through eternity.
