Churches United in Caring - CUIC Churches United in Caring (CUIC) is a non-profit assistance ministry funded by donations from local churches, the community and our thrift store.

CUIC is a Non-Profit organization run by volunteers for residents of the Crosby, Huffman and Barrett communities. CUIC's Thrift Shop is open Monday-Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM and also accepts donations of gently used items during these hours. The Assistance Center accepts applications on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM to 11:30 AM.

Happy Labor Day from CUIC!
Today, we want to say a special THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers. Your time, energy, compassion, and hard work keep CUIC moving forward and make it possible for us to serve our neighbors throughout the community. We are so grateful for everything you do!
We’re also thankful for everyone who shops, donates, gives, and supports CUIC. Every one of you plays a part in helping us help others.

We need large paper bags. Do you have an overabundance of paper grocery or take out bags and need to clear out of your pantry? Do you want to help your community but not sure how... Donate them to CUIC! Bring us your paper bags and we will use them for "rag bags". Stop in to find out what rag bags are, then shop in the store. I'm sure you will find a treasure or two!
