In 1844 the Lynchburg Curcuit was formed and a church in Crosby was started by various Protestant denominations, including the Methodist Episcopal Church. Sometime around 1897 a group meeting in the Crosby schoolhouse on Kernohan Street became the Union Church. It too held services for all Protestant faiths. "For such a time as this." ✨

This week’s hero is Queen Esther! 👑
She showed us that you don't need a cape to be brave—you just need a heart for others. Even when she was afraid, she chose to stand up for her people.

At VBS, we want to empower our kids to have that same kind of courage. Tag a "Queen Esther" in your life who inspires you to be brave! 👇
