Yesterday Rev. Massengale gave us a powerful reminder that God has a purpose and a plan for every life.

We were challenged from Jeremiah 29:11 to live with the end in mind, recognizing that our time here is precious and that God has called each of us to more than simply attending church—He has called us to impact lives for His Kingdom.

The message encouraged us to ask ourselves:
✨ Am I fulfilling God’s purpose for my life?
✨ Am I making an eternal difference in the lives around me?
✨ What will be said about the life I lived for Christ?

God’s plans for us are good, and His desire is for each of us to grow from grace to grace, serving faithfully wherever He has placed us. May we be intentional about sharing our faith, inviting others to church, loving our families well, and living each day with eternity in view.

“Only one life, so soon it will pass. Only what’s done for Christ will last.”

Thank you, Lord, for speaking to our hearts and reminding us that every life has purpose in Your Kingdom.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the words in John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

As we gather with family and friends, may we take a moment to reflect, pray for the families of the fallen, and thank God for the freedoms we are blessed with. ❤️🤍💙

🔥 PENTECOST SUNDAY 🔥

Today we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit — the day ordinary people were filled with extraordinary power.
Pentecost reminds us that God still moves, still speaks, and still changes lives today.

“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord. — Zechariah 4:6

“Looking for the Door” 🚪

Today’s message was a powerful reminder from John 10:9 — “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved…”

So often, we treat Jesus like someone we go to when we need something—guidance, healing, provision. But today, we were challenged with this truth: Jesus is not just the giver… He is the gift.

It’s easy to live independently, even in our walk with God—checking in when necessary instead of truly living in Him. But He is inviting us into something deeper:
✨ Fellowship
✨ Relationship
✨ Transformation

From the very beginning, God has always required an act of obedience to enter into what He has prepared. Today, that call is to obey the gospel—the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus:

➡️ Repentance – a true change of mind and direction
➡️ Baptism in Jesus’ name – the washing away of sin
➡️ Receiving the Holy Ghost – His Spirit living within us

And here’s the truth that hit home: don’t stop at the door.
There is always more in Him. More growth. More depth. More revelation.

We’re not called to stand at a distance—we’re called to step in, to live in Him, and let Him live in us.

No matter where you are in your journey…
Just keep coming. There is always another door.

🔥 Stop Feeding on Yesterday’s Ashes 🔥

There’s a powerful truth we were reminded of today by Rev. Buxton:
You cannot live today on yesterday’s experience with God.

In scripture, we see the image of a man who once prepared a fresh meal—he gathered the wood, built the fire, and put in the time and effort. That meal gave him strength, nourishment, and satisfaction.

But the next day?
All that was left… was ashes.

And instead of putting in the effort again, he chose to feed on what remained.

How often do we do the same thing spiritually?

We remember the service where God moved.
We hold onto a moment when we felt His presence.
We try to draw strength from something that was only meant for that day.

But ashes:
• Have no strength
• Carry no nourishment
• And if we stay there too long… they can make us bitter

📖 “My heart is smitten and withered like grass… I have eaten ashes like bread…” (Psalm 102)

God never intended for us to survive on leftovers.
His mercies are new every morning.
His presence is available daily.
His Spirit is fresh, not stale.

✨ Today is a new day.
✨ Today requires a fresh fire.
✨ Today calls for a fresh sacrifice.

We must choose:
Will we put in the effort to seek Him again…
or settle for the ashes of what used to be?

I don’t know about you—but I can’t afford to feed on ashes.
I need a fresh touch. A fresh word. A fresh anointing.

Let’s pursue God daily—not just when it’s convenient, but because we need Him.

🙌 Who else is choosing a fresh experience with God today?
