ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Christian love and sympathy are expressed to Sherry Campise and family on the passing of her father, Jim Hedrick. May you find peace through God's comforting presence.
Welcome: Kiki Chaves, Andrea Chaves and Leonard Wilson placed their membership with us on June 7th. We welcome them with love into our church family. God bless you as we share His love and His work together.
June Food Pantry Items: Flour, sugar, salt.
June 26-27: Camp for grades 2 and 3 at Gasconade Christian Service Camp.
June 28-July 1: Grades 4-5 at Gasconade Christian Service Camp.
July 3rd: The church office will be closed in observance of the 4th of July.
July 5-10: Grades 6-7 at Gasconade Christian Service Camp.
July 5th: NO July Fellowship Meal - Because the first Sunday of July is a part of the 4th of July holiday, there will be no "First Sunday" fellowship meal this month. Our next meat (hamburgers and hot dogs) is scheduled for August 2nd.
July 8th: Our church's day to provide kitchen helpers at the church camp. The camp needs "3" workers to help prepare lunch and clean up afterwards. Sign up in the foyer.
July 12-17: Grades 10-12 at Gasconade Christian Service Camp.
July 19-24: Grades 8-9 at Gasconade Christian Service Camp.
July 26-29: VBS is going on this week. PLEASE share and INVITE your friends. Please see Sherry Campise if you are interested in helping this year. Janitor Needed: We are looking for a part-time janitor to work 15 hours per week. The job includes the auditorium, and foyer. Please see Kenny Peterson if you are interested.
Baby Card Shower: A card shower for Cecelia Jarrett Dodson is being held through the end of June. There is a basket for cards on the table in the foyer.
Children's Ministry: The children's department is looking for volunteers to help work with our children on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. If you are interested in helping, please see our children's director, Sherry Campise, or contact the office.
Decorator Needed: We need someone to be in charge of decorating the auditorium and foyer. Occasionally you may be asked for advice on decorating the stage for a sermon series. If you are interested, please see Terry.
School Supplies Needed: For the back to school bash in August, we are collecting 100 plastic pencil boxes, 100 pencil pouches, 200 pencils and 12 1" 3ring binders. There is a black tub in the foyer for you to place your donations in. The Back to School Bash is scheduled for Thursday, August 13th.
