ANNOUNCEMENTS:

September Food Pantry Needs: Canned fruit.
August 31st: Church leadership meeting. Elders will meet at 6:00 PM and the general board will meet at 7:00 PM.
September 6th: Due to the Labor Day holiday, there will be NO first Sunday meal.
September 6th: Secret Destination for high schoolers will be held after church. Lunch will be provided, and then we will leave for our "secret destination" at 1:30. Please bring swim attire and friends. If your family is interested in hosting a Secret Destination, please see Jon or Katie Haggard. This is a great way to get to know and serve our youth.
September 9th: Wednesday Night Meals will begin at 5:30. We need a couple more people to serve as monthly coordinators. If you can help us out by overseeing the meals for the month, please see Charlene or Terry. We also have sign-up sheets on the table in the foyer if you can help cook a meal or provide dessert.
September 20th: We will have a farewell dinner for Terry and Charlene immediately following the morning service. Please join us as we give thanks for our time with them and pray for them as they leave us to begin a new ministry.
September 20th: The Quilt Circle ladies hgave worked diligently and are pleased to invite all to see the variety of quilts that will go to missions this year. On September 20th, we will have several dozen on display in the classroom off the foyer. We are grateful and amazed by the generous gifts and prayers not only from our CCC family, but from ladies who are not members of our congregation. God bless you, and those who will receive the gifts of love and caring. May His name be glorified in all we do and say. (Isaiah 55:11).
October 2nd & 3rd: Fall Fest for grades 4-6 at the camp. Registration cost is $40.00. Sign-in begins at 5:00 pm on October 2nd and pick-up time is at 5:00 pm on October 3rd. Register online at https://gasconadecamp.org.
October 16th & 17th: The fall retreat for graded 7-12 at Gasconade Christian Service Camp. Check-in is from 4:30-5:00 pm on October 16th. Check out is on October 17th at 7:00 PM. Deans are Hudson Aikins and TJ Eacret. The cost is $50.00. Register online at https://gasonadecamp.org.
Sunday Morning Snacks: There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the foyer if you are willing to help provide snacks for Sunday morning. It is important to sign up so that we won't have too much one Sunday and not enough on another Sunday. Please consider helping with this ministry.
Funeral Meals: If you can help with funeral dinners, please sign up in the foyer or see Danielle Theunissen. Areas in which to help include providing a dish, helping in the church kitchen and assisting with clean-up.
Lost & Found: There is a lost and found box in the coat closet. If you think you may have lost anything, please check to see if it is there. Everything else will be donated soon, so be sure to check.
Need a Ride? If you need a ride to church during inclement weather, sign up in the foyer. If you are willing to provide transportation to church, there is a sign up sheet for that, as well. We will match riders with drivers. See Penny Peterson or Katie Haggard with any questions.
Children's Ministry: The children's department is looking for volunteers to help work with our children on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. If you are interested in helping, please see our children's director, Sherry Campise, or contact the office.
Quilt Circle: The ladies' quilt circle meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, from 9:00-12:00. All interested ladies are welcome to join them as they make quilts for those in need.
Church Text Messages: If you would like to be part of the church text message program, please put your phone number on the back of the tear-off and put text message. Just a reminder, please DO NOT respond to the text messages that the church sends out.
