All glory be to God 🤍
Our hearts are overflowing as we finally introduce our sweet baby girl,
Navy Kate Fleschute🩵🫶🏼
Born on July 23 at 1:03 a.m.
The last couple of weeks have been the most difficult and emotional journey of our lives. Navy’s birth took an unexpected turn when we experienced a severe shoulder dystocia, a terrifying emergency that forever changed our lives. Shortly after she was born, we were told she might not make it. We were also warned that if she survived, she could have suffered brain damage due to the lack of oxygen she experienced during delivery. She also had a broken arm from delivery. She was flown to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, where we’ve been by her side in the NICU. After 3 days on cold therapy they did the brain MRI and our prayers were answered there was no damage! While we are still concerned with her broken arm and a brachial plexus injury on the other arm, we are so so blessed to have our sweet girl here and improving each and everyday.
Through every moment of fear, every unanswered question, every tear, and every prayer, God has been faithful. He has carried us when we didn’t think we had the strength to keep going, surrounded us with peace, and reminded us that He is always in control. We have witnessed His goodness and His presence in ways we’ll never forget.
We are so incredibly in love with our sweet Navy. She has already shown us what true strength looks like, and every second with her is a gift we will never take for granted.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has prayed for our family, reached out, checked in, encouraged us, and supported us through this journey. Your prayers, kindness, and love have meant more than we could ever put into words.
Please continue to pray for Navy as she keeps growing stronger each day.
Our story isn’t one we ever imagined, but through it all, one thing has remained constant God’s faithfulness. We will continue to give Him all the glory for every victory, every answered prayer, and every precious moment with our miracle girl.
Welcome to the world, Navy Kate. You are loved more than you’ll ever know. 🤍
