Waypoint United Methodist Church Waypoint is all about "Leading people to love and live like Jesus." Sunday Worship at 10:30 a.m.

Our vision is to share God’s love, grow faith across generations, and guide people to Jesus in our community and beyond. Children's Worship and nursery care are provided with drop-off starting at 10:15 a.m.

🚨 Love In Action Alert 🚨

Love in action takes many forms, including advocating for those who need a voice.

Join us tonight at 6:30 pm at Waypoint to learn about the vital work of CASA of South Central Missouri, an organization that advocates for children in foster care. As we seek to love like Jesus, we recognize that caring for vulnerable children and supporting those who stand beside them is one way we pursue justice and make a difference in our community.

We'll also launch our new ongoing ministry, The Hope Chest, by collecting donations such as hygiene products, colognes and perfumes, duffle bags and backpacks, and new toys while working together to build a pantry that will serve as a year-round collection point for these and other donated items.

Everyone is welcome! Come learn, serve, and help make a difference in the lives of local children.

As we step into a new week, let’s intentionally lift up these organizations and ministries in prayer:

🔹 Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church – Pray for their congregation to be encouraged and strengthened in faith.
🔹 Wesley UMC (Sedalia) & Hickory Chapel (Lincoln) – Pray for their ministries as they share God’s love and serve their communities.
🔹 Pulaski County Library District – Pray for the staff, patrons, and programs that help educate and connect our community.
🔹 Westside Christian Academy – Pray for students, teachers, and families as they grow in knowledge, character, and faith.

Our youth group spent the morning baking (and even braved a surprise rain shower!☔) as they prepare for tomorrow's bake sale fundraiser! 🍪🧁

Support our students as they raise funds to attend UNITE, a summer conference experience filled with worship, fellowship, service, and spiritual growth.

Love In Action Week begins Sunday! 💙

Join us this Sunday at 10:30 am as we gather for worship and prepare our hearts for a week of serving our community. During the service, we'll have a special Commissioning Prayer for everyone participating in Love In Action Week. 🙌

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Callie Greenberg 🌟
Recipient of Waypoint's Heart of Service Award

This recognition is offered to an individual who has gone above and beyond to advance Waypoint's mission of “leading people to love and live like Jesus.” It is presented alongside the Humble Servant statue, inspired by Mark 9:35: “Whoever wants to be first must be least of all and the servant of all.” Callie truly lives out this calling through her faithful, hands-on service. 💙

What led Callie to start serving, and what keeps her connected?
Callie first connected with Waypoint through the preschool program when her oldest son was enrolled. After being invited to a Sunday service in 2021, she jumped right in, volunteering the very next week at a spring cleanup project. Since then, she’s continually found ways to serve. She’s passionate about setting an example for her kids and has loved seeing the direct impact of events like PJs & Pancakes, which has reached hundreds in the community.

Where has she seen God at work?
Callie has seen God moving in many areas, especially within the youth group:
🔹 Watching strong relationships form and the program grow
🔹 Stepping out of her comfort zone and finding joy in leading students
🔹 Experiencing transformation in both the students and herself

Her encouragement to others:
“Do it! Stepping out of my comfort zone has led me to so many incredible people. Waypoint is full of amazing humans I’ve been lucky to serve beside. My kids feel so much comfort, love, and safety here—and for that I’m so thankful.”

Thank you, Callie, for the countless ways you serve with humility, heart, and dedication. Your impact is deeply felt and truly makes a difference! 🙌
