Faith was never meant to stay hidden inside of us. Real faith changes the way we live, the way we love, and the way we care for others.

James reminds us that faith is more than words we say or beliefs we hold in our minds. Faith comes alive through action. It looks like loving people well, serving those in need, showing compassion, and reflecting the heart of Jesus in everyday life.

The gospel doesn’t just transform what we believe. It transforms who we become.

May our lives be marked by a faith that is alive, active, and visible to the world around us.

Youth Spaghetti Fundraiser Dinner. This is our last Wednesday Night dinner for the Spring session on Wednesday, June 3rd. All donations go to send students to Summer Camp at Thousand Pines August 3-7.

One of the beautiful things about the church is getting to send people out to live on mission for Jesus. This weekend we had the opportunity to pray over and send one of our own out to serve as a missionary, and what a powerful reminder that God calls ordinary people to extraordinary purpose.

But the truth is, every one of us is sent. Every time we leave the church building, we step into the places God has called us to influence. Your home, your workplace, your neighborhood, your school, even the grocery store becomes a place where the Spirit of God wants to work through you.

So wherever you’re headed today, go filled with the Spirit. Go with love, hope, and boldness. Go be who God has called you to be. Go get ’em.

Wednesdays at Harbor Trinity are a great chance to slow down, share a meal, and connect in community during the middle of the week.

Join us tonight for dinner at 5:30pm. This week we’re serving enchiladas, so come hungry and enjoy a great night together.

After dinner, Kids Club, HTC Youth, and our adult groups meet from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. This week at Kids Club is Mis-Matched Night, so wear your craziest mix of patterns, socks, or colors and join the fun.

And don’t forget, next week is our Youth Spaghetti Fundraiser Dinner.

There’s something for everyone, and we’d love to see you tonight.

This weekend is significant for the church (Pentecost Sunday) and the United States (Memorial Day weekend). As Jesus writes to the church in Philadelphia, He recognizes they have little power, but there is an open door before them. We feel the same for Harbor Trinity Church & Preschool.
