Miracles are happening. We were so blessed that this story was shared with us. It is a great reminder to lean into the hope God offers us and to bring EVERYTHING to the Father.

Bringing our needs to the Lord can feel vulnerable. When we walk into vulnerability, we foster deeper relationship and open our hands to receive good gifts from God.

If you are hoping and praying for something, we would love to intercede for you.

Sometimes switching up translations helps Scripture speak to us in new ways. The NLT translation made this well-loved Psalm feel fresh and speak new life over us recently.

The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

There are few things more compelling than encountering someone in their golden years who simply radiates the presence of Jesus. No words necessary, no grand gestures required—just a life that has been so deeply formed by the Spirit that they carry a fragrance of peace and profound wisdom. It’s a rare, beautiful kind of maturity that invites others to pause, reflect, and wonder what it might look like to walk that same path.

This week's newsletter is all about diving deeper.

Most conversations never move past the shallow end.

Sports. Weather. Work. Repeat.

Meanwhile, the people around us are carrying stories, burdens, questions, and passions they desperately wish someone would notice.

In ministry—and honestly in everyday life—we often settle for safe small talk when people are actually longing to be known.

Real connection starts with curiosity.

Not toxic curiosity that pries or gossips. Kingdom curiosity that listens, cares, and creates safety.

When people feel seen instead of judged, walls come down.

Jesus modeled this constantly. He asked thoughtful questions. He listened deeply. He valued people over agendas.

Moving deeper doesn’t require awkwardness or forcing spiritual conversations. Sometimes it starts with one simple phrase:
“Tell me more about that.”

Simple questions can open the door to meaningful dialogue and genuine connection.

At the end of the day, most people want to be seen more than they want advice.
Your goal isn’t to impress people. It’s to love the person in front of you the way the Lord does.

Always use the 'Who-First' strategy for outreach! You might really want to host that craft night, but it might not be the right event to connect with the three people you have been praying for. Save that craft night for a different group of friends and think of what would serve those who you are trying to connect with best!

True connection is rare, but it is achievable through intentional, low-key gatherings. Reframe the concept of a party from a simple social event into a strategic mission, turning a casual summer gathering into a meaningful space where spiritual openness can flourish.

The modern world is starving for one thing above all else: authentic connection and meaningful community. Whether it’s a simple cup of tea with one friend or a gathering of many, creating spaces where people can truly belong is the heartbeat of kingdom impact.

It’s about intentional hospitality, building relationships, having genuine fun, and creating the right environment where deeper, spiritually open conversations can naturally unfold. The most profound ministry doesn't happen from a pulpit; it happens around a table.

What if mission this summer looks less like a program… and more like a party?

Not a perfect, elaborate party. Just people gathering together.

Our world is starving for authentic relationships and meaningful community. Sometimes the most powerful ministry happens around:
• The dinner table
• A fire pit
• Front lawns
• Watching the game together

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s connection.

This summer, move from praying for your neighbors to partying with them.

In this week's newsletter, we talk about:
• Why low-key gatherings work so well
• Identifying WHO before deciding WHAT
• The “front lawn strategy”
• Why getting it on the calendar matters
• How the Holy Spirit highlights people of peace through community

The art of being present starts with a simple, intentional shift. Instead of rushing to the next task, there is immense value in creating space—lingering a little longer in the neighborhood, the workplace, or the daily commute.

Often, the most meaningful connections happen in those unplanned, extra minutes when we choose to pause rather than hurry. By staying open to the moment and being prepared for unexpected interactions, we invite the possibility of building deeper relationships right where we are. It’s about viewing every daily encounter as an opportunity to be fully attentive and available.
