The Stirring Sundays | 5:30 PM | Hope Church Sanctuary Come and let God stir up the passions of your soul at The Stirring.

The Stirring is a worship experience that seeks to recapture the greatest aspect of the Church - its willingness to interact with culture, dwell in it and understand it, earning the right to speak to it and influence it (where needed). Hope 4 Kids is available for infants through 4s during the entire service. Elementary kids (K-5th) are dismissed with volunteers after the worship set to attend StirringKids. Parents will find their children located in the Hope 4 Kids Building.

A father’s greatest influence isn’t found in having all the answers—it’s found in following Christ.

Last night, Pastor Vincent and special guest Dr. Joplin shared how a relationship with Jesus shapes the way we lead, love, and serve our families. When fathers pursue Christ, they become more patient, more faithful, more present, and more intentional.

We loved celebrating the dads and father figures in our community and praying for the men who are working every day to reflect the heart of God to the people they love most.

Today we celebrate Juneteenth—a day that reminds us of the power of freedom, hope, and the dignity of every person created in God’s image.

As followers of Christ, we remember that freedom is not only a historical victory worth honoring, but also a spiritual gift. Scripture tells us, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free” (Galatians 5:1). We give thanks for those who fought for justice, acknowledge the work that remains, and celebrate the God who calls us to love our neighbors, pursue righteousness, and walk humbly together.

May we be people who reflect God’s heart by seeking justice, extending grace, and helping build a world where every person is valued and loved.
