Emmanuel Baptist Church Sharing Life! Who We Are
We are a spirited bunch of youth, children & adults who want to experience life at its best – abundant, real & forever!

Our name describes us:

Emmanuel – We believe that Jesus was speaking truthfully when He said, “I have come that they may have life, & have it to the full” – that life begins with a relationship with Jesus! Baptist – We believe the Bible is God’s Word, & that it’s relevant to our lives & reliable! Church – We believe faith is lived out in relationships! We are committed not only to orthodoxy (soun

d doctrine), but to orthopraxy (putting what we believe into practice). EBC is part of the Coquille Valley Christian Ministerial Association, a local consortium of churches who cooperate to share life in Jesus. We are associated with CB Northwest, an association of 250+ churches in the Pacific Northwest who share common doctrine, polity & philosophy of ministry.

🙏 Today is the National Day of Prayer. We turn to you, Lord.

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞: Glorify God among the nations - seeking him in all generations.

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞: "Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples." 1 Chronicles 16:24 NASB

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫:
Almighty God, King of Glory, we confess our sins and repent of our pride that sought our own glory and comfort, allowing evil to take root instead of Your fruit in our hearts, homes, culture, and country. Please forgive us.

Now, with this declaration of rededication, we humble ourselves, pray, and seek Your face, turning from our wicked ways, that You would heal our lives and our land. Please purify and renew our hearts with holy attributes, affections, attitudes, and actions — to love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

We give You glory as we repent and rededicate our lives and our nation to You. For 250 years You have guarded and guided America in wisdom, grace, mercy, and love. We praise and thank You for our Founding Fathers, for all who sought You in fervent prayer throughout history and answered Your call to defend justice and freedom; to protect and serve, preach and teach, innovate, communicate, learn, work, worship, and establish our laws.

May Your Kingdom come, and Your will be done in our lives, our Families, the Church, Education, Business, Military, Government, Arts, Entertainment and Media as it is in heaven.

We prayerfully commit to "Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations."

In Jesus' name, Amen!

Mothers often shape the spiritual direction of their family through simple yet powerful actions: teaching their children about God, praying with them, encouraging them in their struggles, and modeling what it looks like to trust the Lord in everyday life. You're invited to celebrate Mother's Day with us this Sunday! Sunday School 9:30am and Worship Service 10:45 am!

Today's moments with God: Prayers in Disguise

📖 Read: Job 19:5-12

❓Respond: When have you felt angry at God? How can Job’s story help us express and keep perspective on it?
